Hugh Dywer is a racing driver for the F1F Virtual Grand Prix Championship, the highest class of Virtual racing in the world.

Early Life


Hugh Dywer was born on the 17 September 1988 in the city of Regina, Saskatchwan, Canada.


Pre-F1 Racing Career

Dywer started Karting at the age of 8 and won the national karting championship at the age of 10. He then moved to British Formula Ford championship in 2002, winning the series in 2003. He got contracted to race in Formula 3 the following year, finishing second in class. After 3 years in Formula 3 he moved to the World Series by Renault in 2006 coming 2nd overall in 2009. He then reached the Virtual GP2 series in 2010. His best championship finish was 2nd in 2011.

Formula One

In 2013 he signed a 1 year contract with the Lucas Wilson Grand Prix team for the 2013 season. Currently his best result is two 6th place finishes at the Malaysian and Austrian Grand Prixs.
