The Formula Virtual World Drivers' Championship (WDC) is awarded to the most successful Formula Virtual racing car driver over a season, as determined by a points system based on V-Prix results. A driver becomes the World Champion as soon as it is mathematically impossible for another driver to obtain more points than he or she has.

Nathaniel Powers holds the record for the most World Drivers' Championships, having won the title on five occasions. He was also the first World Drivers' Champion in 2013, the first driver to win multiple titles in 2017, and the first driver to successfully defend a title in 2018, subsequently becoming the first triple World Champion.

Klaas van Snelheid is the current Drivers' Champion, having secured his maiden title at the 2023 Argentine V-Prix.

Notes

Bold indicates the team also won the Constructors' Championship.

1 Powers competed in the 2013 season with Franklin, but signed an early contract with Downton for the following season. A contractual clause allowed for him to make the move as soon as the Drivers' Championship had been won.
