The 2015 FV2 Series will be the third series of its kind, albeit the first with a different name. Having been run under the International Junior Grand Prix Championship in it's first two seasons, the name will change to the Formula Virtual 2 Series as a result of Formula Virtual's corresponding name change.
The Ford IJGP/1 spec chassis was set to be used for a third and final season however with Ford now also building the engines the new chassis was brought forward in development by a year and so the Ford FV2/1 spec chassis will be used.
Emma Wilson is the reigning drivers' champion but will not defend her title because she will instead step up to Formula Virtual with Lucas.
Formation Competition are the defending teams' champions.

South Africa and Sweden will also join the calendar, with South Africa opening the season and Sweden acting as the stand-alone event. In another big change, there will now be two races over a weekend - similar to FV3 - a feature race and a sprint race.
