The 2026 Virtual Americas Racing Series is the twelfth season of the Virtual Americas Racing Series. The series is a virtual motor racing championship held across the North and South American continents which acts as the third tier in the FVA Series Pyramid, sitting directly under the Virtual World Racing Series.

Charlie Young was the Drivers' Champion from the 2025 season and stepped up to VWRS for 2026. American Engineering came into the season as defending champions after winning the Teams' Championship in 2025.

Driver changes

Leaving the series

• 2025 champion Charlie Young stepped up to the Virtual World Racing Series, where he signed for Signature Performance.
• Three drivers left the series at the end of 2025 after competing for their mandatory maximum of three years. These drivers were; Yohan Picquart, Joaquín Sánchez, and Roberto Santos. Of these, Picquart and Santos stepped up to the Virtual World Racing Series. Sánchez, meanwhile, was unable to find a drive in single seaters.
• Jose-Maria Munoz moved to the re-launched eV3 Series, where he signed for Sneijders eRacen.
• Dylan Reeves, Brendan Hancock, and Sergey Ogorodnikov left the series after failing to find a seat for 2026.

Changing teams

• Mauricio Carballo moved from Higuita Compéticion to Luserno Sport.
• Rosa de Oliveira joined CopaMundo, having previously raced for Wayne Corini Racing. She replaced Pablo Sanchez, who moved to MotoTecnica and was joined by Manuel Quesada, who left Signature Performance.
• Ravindra Joshi moved from Lopez Racing to Wayne Corini Racing.

Joining the series

• Oscar Rodgers switched from the Virtual European Racing Series, signing for American Engineering.
• Seven rookies joined the series for 2026; 2025 Virtual Italian Racing Series champion Vincent Moretti signed for American Engineering, 2025 Virtual Brazilian Racing Series champion Alonzo Piñón joined Estrella Carreras, 2025 Virtual Canadian Racing Series champion Olivier St-Gelais signed for Signature Performance, 2025 Virtual Spanish Racing Series champion Rodrigo Valdovinos joined Lopez Racing, 2025 Virtual United States Racing Series champion Kody Armstrong joined Travers Racing, Spaniard Miquel Ravelino joined Higuita Compéticion, and American driver Michael Walton began his VARS career with Wayne Corini Racing.

Drivers' standings

Points were awarded to the top 12 classified finishers in races 1 and 2, and to the top 10 classified finishers in race 3. The pole-sitters in races 1 and 2 also received three points each, with one point given to the driver who set the fastest lap in each race. No extra points are awarded to the pole-sitter in race three as the grid for it is based on the results of race two with the top half of the field being reversed.
