The SRT RS-01-P is a Formula Virtual racing car designed by SRT for use in the 2023 Formula Virtual World Championship, the team’s debut season in Formula Virtual. The car was driven by Danilo Forini and Jean Mattson.

History

The car was launched at a launch event at the Nürburgring circuit on 4th February 2023. The launch featured an interview with media host Britta Schiffer and SRT Team Principal Roy Seifert.

SRT entered Formula Virtual when three spaces opened up following the departures of Franklin, Lucas, and Highwind at the end of the 2022 season. Whilst the team had just six months between being founded and having the RS-01-P ready for pre-season testing, SRT hoped their strong line up of Danilo Forini and the vastly experienced Jean Mattson would help them battle through pre-qualifying in their first ever season.

Sponsorship

Having announced their title sponsorship deal with German brewery Bitburger in December 2022, SRT's first ever livery featured the brand heavily, with the company logo appearing prominently on the side pods and rear wing. Telecommunications company AT&T and Logitech both joined the fledgling team and featured prominently, with JUNKERS, ABB, Adidas, Deutsche Bank, and Gauls Catering also appearing on the predominantly white livery.

SRT's badge was positioned at the forefront of the car's nose, just behind the Porsche badge. TotalEnergies, the team's oil and lubricants supplier, was also featured on the car.
