BMW Zyla F1 Team was a German Formula Virtual team based in Munich, Germany. The team competed in the first five races of the inaugural 2013 season, before being disqualified and permanently banned from the series following 'unsavoury conduct' by Founder and Team Principal Joey Zyla.
Origins
Zyla was formed in June 2013 by American Joey Zyla to compete in the inaugural season of Formula Virtual, with German manufacturer BMW as the team's official partner.
Ownership
The team was fully owned by Joey Zyla with substantial backing from BMW.
